I am a third year PhD student at Mathematics department, Utrecht University. I work with Dr. Tristan van Leeuwen, Prof. Wim Mulder and Prof. K. Joost Batenburg in the fields of seismic imaging, level-set methods and geometric inverse problems. My PhD project is part of ‘Computational Sciences for Energy Research’ (CSER), a research program funded jointly by Shell and NWO.

I completed my bachelors and masters (Dual Degree) from Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, in 2015. I worked with Prof. N. Hemachandra and Prof. R. P. Shimpi on game-theoretic perspective in aviation market.

I am passionate about education and have been involved in educational outreach and mentoring activities. I’m a founding member of SIAM student chapter at Utrecht University. Along with research and education, I cherish interesting conversations on startup and artificial intelligence.
